Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game Great War Boosters Shipping in Time for the Holidays

(Tempe, Arizona) Despite production delays, booster packs for the Babylon 5 Collectible Card
Game Great War expansion set will ship in time for the holidays.  The boosters will ship to
distributors on December 16th.  Displays of two new starter decks, "Opposing Factions" and "The
Non-Aligned Worlds" will ship separately, arriving in stores the first weekend of January 1999.

"To ensure that customers and retailers could enjoy the Great War boosters over the holidays,
we put their production ahead of new starters", said Precedence CEO Paul Brown.  "Fortunately,
we were able to do this because the two releases are not co-dependant.  Great War boosters add
tremendously to game play without requiring any of the new rules and exclusive cards found in
Great War starter decks."

Randomly inserted into Great War boosters are the highly anticipated "Londo Mollari" cards
signed by actor Peter Jurasik.  These signed and authenticated cards are inserted on average at
one per case for the entire production run.

Great War boosters introduce exactly 300 new cards to the B5 CCG.  A 10 card pack, including
two rare cards, has a suggested retail price of $2.49 per pack.

The now separate release of Great War decks will introduce a total of 75 exclusive new cards to
the B5 CCG as well as four new factions and one new race to expand game play options.  The
revised rulebook will implement features in high demand since the Premier Edition release,
including rules for games with more than four players as well as allowing multiple opposing
factions within the same race.  Also, by player request, the new decks will include sheets of
"Mark" counters and improved political tracking sheets.

"Precedence builds decks in a way that is unique to the industry", said Brown.  "Our decks are
so self-contained that they stand perfectly well as a product on their own.  In fact, we strive
to minimize card overlap between our starters and boosters because, frankly, we don't think its
fair to sell CCG customers a deck filled mostly with common cards they will be buying again in
a booster pack. For that reason, we believe that breaking up the Great War into two shipments
will actually extend the excitement of the Great War and make it easier to collect at the same
time."

The exact make-up of the forthcoming Great War decks is as follows: Opposing Factions
Supplement Deck: Contains 50 exclusive new cards including four new "Home Faction" ambassador
cards.  Also contains two Great War rares and eight Great War uncommons inserted at random.
The Opposing Factions deck is not playable as a stand-alone deck as its cards upgrade all other
B5 CCG starter decks.

The Non-Aligned Worlds Starter Deck contains 25 exclusive new cards including eight new
characters with the option to serve as the ambassador for the new Non-Aligned worlds faction.
To make it play well right out of the box, this deck also contains 25 cards drawn from all
previous B5 CCG releases, as well as two random Great War rares and eight Great War uncommons.

Each of the two new Great War decks will retail for $8.95.

Precedence Announces Additions to Management Team

(Tempe, Arizona)   "Precedence is a rapidly growing company," said CEO Paul W. Brown III in a
statement released today announcing new staff acquisitions.  "Our new staff members reflect
that growth.  The new team members were selected to make certain that our upcoming products are
promoted as quickly and completely as possible."

Ronnie Noize joined Precedence as Consulting Marketing Manager in November.  Her credentials
are rich and varied, said Brown, including posts as Marketing Manager for The X-Files
Collectible Card Game, Marketing Director for Magic: The Gathering for Wizards of the Coast,
and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Dark Horse Comics.  Noize currently lives in
Washington and runs Aria Entertainment, a video production and publishing company.  Noize can
be reached at 360-882-1298.

"Ronnie joins some of the most talented and experienced people from the role-playing and
collectible card game industry on our team," asserted Brown.  Brown himself began his career as
founder of Reality Simulations, Inc., before expanding his talents to lead Precedence in 1994
in creation of games such as the Aliens/Predator Collectible Card Game with HarperPrism.
Precedence Entertainment has since grown to produce internationally acclaimed games such as the
Babylon 5 CCG and the IMMORTAL RPG.

Ted Kraver is the Chairman and financial backer of Precedence, and the team's mentor. Kraver
was the original backer for Reality Simulations Inc, and helped co-found Precedence
Entertainment with Brown. His background includes involvement in industries as varied as
variable speed drive technology R&D, Aerospace technology, software development, and skin burn
treatment research.

Sales Manager Greg Roche joined Precedence eighteen months ago to handle retail and distributor
accounts throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia.  Roche's prior experience
includes Director of Marketing, Sales, and Business Development for TSR. He is well known as
one of the most upstanding members of the hobby games industry and its number one sales
manager. Roche is available at 608-242-7275.

Also with Precedence for a year and a half, marketer Steve Domzalski joined the team after four
years with Fleer/Skybox, where he served as Marketing Manager for Marvel Trading cards, as well
as the Marvel OverPower CCG, which he co-created. Domzalski developed the OverPower Legion, the
game's player support organization.   Domzalski currently runs the Zeta Squadron for
Precedence, the Babylon 5 CCG's player support club.  Domzalski can be reached at 215-824 1841.

Aldyth Beltane began work for Precedence as Public Relations Manager in October.  She has been
professionally active in the Comics and Role Playing Game industry for over 10 years.  After
six years as Promotions Director for Comix Experience, a bay-area retailer, Beltane worked
freelance as a writer on a variety of publications.  Recent projects include The Orphan's
Survival Guide for White Wolf Game Studios. Beltane's office number is 415-776-6243.

Kevin Tewart came on board with Precedence in September.  A former resident of San Francisco,
Kevin relocated to Tempe to work for Precedence after submitting an impressive 103 card designs
for the popular Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game. Tewart has a background in gaming, and degrees
in Political Science and Ancient Near Eastern Art History.   He works closely with the Rangers
to provide demonstrations, tournaments, information and support to retailers who carry the
Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game.  Tewart is available by phone at 1-888-256-4955.

Precedence Entertainment's creative and artistic talent has grown with the same level of
quality and experience as its management, according to Brown.  Ran Ackels has produced an
overwhelming amount of work for Precedence, including designing, writing, and illustrating the
highly acclaimed IMMORTAL RPG universe.  Additionally, he has created over 1000 cards for the
Babylon 5 CCG, and designed all the marketing and packaging materials for the game.

David Hewitt is one of Precedence Entertainment's primary game developers.  He was the lead
developer of Gridiron, the football CCG, and one of the lead developers of the Aliens-Predator
and Babylon 5 CCGs, fine tuning and balancing the games' systems.

John Myler is not only a lead game developer for Precedence, but also serves as the manager and
talent liaison for StarLink, the company's new telephone service to connect science fiction's
fans with its stars. Myler's designs for the Traveler and Forgotten Realms Play-by-Mail games
were both nominated for awards at Origins '95.  He has achieved acclaim as lead designer of
both the Babylon 5 and Aliens/Predator CCGs.

Precedence Entertainment's newest team members are dedicated to sharing the excitement of the
company's entire product line, said Brown.  "Precedence is about setting new standards for
quality.  We know that great products and great service don't come easily.  In fact, there is
only one way to have great quality, and that's to have great people.  Not surprisingly, we make
every effort to hire the very best.  We feel that these excellent new additions to our team
reflect our commitment to offering some of the best games and products on the market."

Precedence Entertainment produces the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game, the StarLink telephone
service, the Fortune Teller card game, and publishes books in the IMMORTAL universe.
