Essence Enhancing Clasp
A uniquely new artifact design, the Essence Enhancing Clasp is designed to attach ontop of a set of Hearthstone Bracers, and will not function without the presence of it's related artifact. Also, the Clasp and the Bracers must be made of the same Magical Material. If jade is used, the Color of Jade must also match, as the Clasp relies on the ability to easily flow essence between the Clasp and the Bracers.
The Clasp fits over the Bracer that contains the Hearthstone, and utilizes the power of the Hearthstone in the socket to power it's effect. When the Clasp is active, you do not gain the benifit of the Hearthstone.
When the Clasp becomes active, the defense bonus granted by the Hearthstone bracers to your Dodge DV is negated. Instead, the Clasp creates an essence version of a Thunderbolt Shield. This provides the same bonus as a Thunderbolt shield of it's type.
In addition, the shield can emmitt an essence attack, similar in design to that of an Infinite Jade Chakram or an essence javelin from a Magitech Javelin Thrower. This attack will also benifit from the appropriate metal bonus for thrown weapons.
