Gilded Thespian Style

During the First Age, the ability to defeat the enemies of creation had become the standardized purview of the Exalted. The stakes had been raised to not only vanquish one’s enemy but to do so in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Gilded Thespian style was rumored to be a result of wager between two of the Righteous Master’s understudies. Cervinius the Twilight, a brighter and more well-to-do student was dedicated to acquiring the talents of the Righteous Devil, while his less talented and dilatory Eclipse peer, Noblesong Sakura, who invested what can only be called transitory attention to the punitive training of the Righteous Master. When asked to illustrate what had been learned by his many students the performance of Cervinius was usually a far cry greater than anything Sakura could produce. After an extermination exercise of a cave network littered with Dune people, Cervinius and Sakura argued about the Sakura’s lack of performance, with the final words uttering a rumor of infidelity between Cervinius and Azure Horizon, Sakura’s, Sidereal lover. Heartbroken and distraught, Sakura confronted Horizon who denied any such liaison taking place. The couple angered by Cervinius deceptive ploy at creating chaos between them responded with the creation of a unique martial arts that would be equally as beautiful as it is deadly.

Prayer of Unhindered Engagement

Cost: 2 motes Mins: Martial Arts: 2, Essence: 2

Type: Supplemental

Keywords: Combo-Ok

Duration: Instant

Prerequisite: None

The martial artist feels how his opponent interrupts the flow of essences around him and the heavy duty that lies behind the missile he must fire to correct its interruption. With a swing of his arm and the bullet follows an indirect arc of fire to slay its target. By paying 2 motes the bullet has one of two effects if the target is behind cover it negate any DV bonus they gain from that cover as the bullet curve around the barrier or in the case of no cover the Martial Artist gains their permanent essence in successes to hit the target. (I am not sure about that last part. Does the Charm ignore full cover? I.e. if I am standing completely behind a wall? If so, then it probably shouldn't have any effect when there is no cover because it is pretty powerful as-is.)
