Observer's Eyes

While Nalest has never been overly close to either of his parents, his father is almost entirely just another dynast to him. Tepet Delan is an air aspect who served as an advanced scout and officer for Tepet Arada during the campaign against the Anathema, Yurgen Kaneko. One of the fortunate few to return from that bloody battle, Delan took a small promotion in the ranks, leaving behind his need for the equipment he utilized as a scout. Amongst them, were the Observer's Eyes, a set of Essence Scrying Visors he utilized to have functionality during the dark nights of the North.

Upon receiving these, Nalest was actually somewhat dissapointed. He was not a scout, nor did he have any intention of being so, so he did not see a true usefullness in this item, however, as it was expected of him, he accepted the gift, intent on finding some method of removing them from his own posession later.

It was not until later that Nalest learned exactly how useful the Observer's Eyes could be that he decided to keep them. He hopes to one day improve on the design however, allowing him to see not only essence, but also dematerialized beings and other things hidden from mundane sight.
