Typhon

Typhon is a canonical character who appeared in the Exalted 1st edition main rulebook. As such, I will not be reproducing his copyrighted writeup here. In the Far Shores series, Typhon proved a deadly foe during the Dragon-Blooded's assault on the harbor of Thorns when they recovered the stolen Thunder of Tumbled Ruins. Sesus Kitabata and Ledaal Kebok Nalest fought Typhon beneath the waves of the port of Thorns, with Typhon assuming the Incomparable Body Arsenal form via the power of Celestial sorcery. Kitabata was struck down, and Nalest hurriedly retreated bearing Kitabata's body. Unfortunately, the battle in the harbor yet raged, and Nalest left Kitabata unattended as he slowly bled to death. For his great sacrifice, Kitabata was awarded a special medal of honor along with the surviving members of the mission.

Subsequently, Typhon landed on the northern shores of the Blessed Isle and tried to reach the First Age vessel in its quarantine docking at the Isle of Voices. He seized the House of Three Bears, a Mnemon-held Manse in the mountains of the Chanos prefecture, and summoned an exotic demon known as the Dawnseeker. After using the Dawnseeker to verify the position of the Thunder of Tumbled Ruins, Typhon managed to secure passage on a special-access trade vessel bound for the Isle of Voices. The brotherhood of the Far Shores series came upon his works at the House of Three Bears and destroyed them, which ultimately required that the Manse be extensively rebuilt. In the process, they discovered his whereabouts and pursued him towards the Heptagram. The brotherhood overtook the ship upon which Typhon sailed and engaged it in combat. Typhon assumed the Incomparable Body Arsenal shape again, and reached the shore during an epic battle which lasted for more than an hour. Unfortunately for him he was slain on the rocky beach of the Isle of Voices.

The Abyssal Essence of Typhon, in my game, has passed to an All Seeing Eye agent, now known as Lamb's Wolf. She escaped the Blessed Isle in a recent dustup at the primary Manse of House Ledaal during the funeral of Nalest.
