A More Perfect Union March 19, 2008Posted by Conrad Hubbard in : The Chip , add a comment
On March 18th, in Philadelphia, Obama delivered a major speech, which was inspirational and positive. Watch Barack’s speech on race in America and building a more perfect union.
April 22nd, the next primary happens, in Pennsylvania. If you know anybody in Pennsylvania, please ask them to vote on April 22nd! Be polite, of course, but don’t be a helpless spectator. The future is changing, and you can help make sure it changes for the better. Obama ’08!
Republican Proposes Back of the Bus March 8, 2008Posted by Conrad Hubbard in : The Chip , 7 comments
Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway, a regular commentator on CNN political news, really surprised me tonight. She directly proclaimed that Hillary wanted Senator Barack Obama to sit “at the back of the bus” in a pretty gross display of manipulative racist suggestion. When called on her comment, she didn’t apologize either. To me, it is important to note that Conway is the one that said this. The Clinton campaign did not say it.
It would be nice to see the Republican party publicly repudiate Mrs. Conway’s racist remark. It would be nicer to see Mrs. Conway unreservedly apologize for it and admit she was trying to create a false division by attributing her own racist phrases to a Democratic candidate. It would be even better to see her do something substantive to make up for the damage she may have inflicted on the human experience in the name of short term political expedience.

Those states are: Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont.
The charismatic Senator Barack Obama has swept the last 10 Democratic primaries. Ohio and Texas are states with a lot of delegates, though, and they could still potentially hamper the positive direction of things.
If you know anybody in Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas or Vermont… please ask them to vote on March 4th! Be polite, of course, but don’t be a helpless spectator. The future is changing, and you can help make sure it changes for the better. Obama ’08!
