The Sunfin Incident

The Sunfin was the first ship that Ebon was professionally hired to bring in. Wavecrest had been having problems with a renegade privateer who had been harassing the Realm a little too much for comfort. Headed by a Fey-Blooded mortal, the Sunfin was a bit too dangerous for a less advantaged crew to take on. In the ensuing chase and battle, every member of the other ship had been murdered, and many members of Ebon's own crew had either been killed, thrown over board, or simply ran away.

After four weeks, Ebon found the wayward ship. After negotiating terms of treaty, Ebon and a few members of his crew came abord to try to talk sense into captain. As the day grew into night, the captains grew tired of impasse after impasse. Finally, after one unfortunate wayward comment, Ebon pulled the purple tounge of the Wyld-child out of his head.

Ebon and his few men killed most of the crew before to Solar turned on his own men aboard the Sunfin. Once everyone was dead, Ebon set the ship to torch, boarded his own ship, and watched, sipping on his drink, the Sunfin takes its ghastly secrets into the ocean.

There are still those who have claimed to see the Sunfin sail the seas. It's silent captain commands his crew perfectly still. They say water which washes over the deck comes off colored red with blood.
