Sun Signal Vocabulary -- Ebon's toops have devised a vocabulary for signaling using reflected light off polished shields.

Each sentence has four parts: begin, subject, action, end.

The begin signal is four short flashes followed by a one beat pause.

The end signal is four long flashes followed by either another sentence or silence.

Subject Vocabulary:
...- = Hostile Target / Unit (singular)

..-. = Ally Target / Unit (singular)

..-- = Unknown/Neutral Tartget / Unit (singular)

.-.. = Artillery

.-.- = Archers

.--. = Perimeter / Defenses

.--- = Exalt

-... = Ship

-..- = Enemy Reinforments (plural)

-.-. = Ally Reinforments (plural)

-.-- = Unkown Army/Group (plural)

--.. = Message

--.- = Hazard

---. = Missiles/Weapons


Action Vocabulary:


...- = Miss / Missed / No damage

..-. = Hit with Damage

..-- = Appeared

.-.. = Disappeared

.--. = Shot/Fired
