Waters Flying Fang

The Blue and Black Jade wavecleaver, Waters Flying Fang, is Nalest's most utilized weapon. Using one of the many gifts of Mela that he has learned, Nalest often throws this weapon at his opponents, a method that he utilizes as efficiently as anyone wielding the same weapon in a melee could. Save for a few rare occassions, the weapons almost always sails back into his hand after it has been flung.

The design of the sword is similar to that of most wavecleavers. The bulk of the weapon is made of Black jade, but all of the outlining and the handle itself are comprised of Blue Jade. At the center of the hilt, on one side, the design of a hurricane has been placed. This emblam was masterfully placed there by older members of House Ledaal, who did so to cover up the Pelep's house Mon that once was etched there, a fact that Nalest has not been made aware of, nor has he inspected the sword thoroughly enough to find the alteration.

Recently Nalest has come into possession of a new weapon, Fang on the Wind, and has returned Waters Flying Fang to his house so that he may dedicate his essence to the study of this weapon in hopes of manipulating the technology behind it into a new design he is working on.
