Metagalapa
Metagalapa is a canonical city from Exalted, described in the Second Edition core book, and in the original Scavenger Sons book as well. As such, we will not be repeating copyrighted material about it here. We will, however, discuss changes and original creations involving Metagalapa as it appears in our Far Shores and Hundred Kingdoms series.
In our chronicles, Metagalapa was conquered by the Bull of the North with the help of the kingdom of Halta. This happened in the year 768 R.Y. during the Bull's second campaign against Linowa and its allies, and about four years after his war with the Tepet Legions.
Grilo, the hawkrider Solar Exalt, had fled Metagalapa when he Exalted. With its domination by the Bull, Grilo returned to his homeland. When the Bull of the North joined the Hundred Kingdoms circle of Solar Exalted in invasion of Greyfalls, Grilo joined the fight there. When the Bull returned to the Invisible Fortress, Grilo was transported to Metagalapa and left there so that his giant bird could recover from the wounds it received in Greyfalls. Grilo has become one of the most powerful political figures in Metagalapa.
