Cathak Roka
Player Character from the Far Shores series, played by Michael. (With Michael's move out of state, the character is scheduled to be retired to NPC status. What fate lies in store for him remains to be discovered in the course of the progression of the series.)
Fire-Aspected sorcerer. Graduated from the Heptagram.
Roka is an incredibly handsome man whose fine features make the hearts of men and women beat that much harder. He is an accomplished swordsman who occasionally teaches melee classes at the Heptagram in return for further study opportunities. The Heptagram instructor Sesus Calaya has a soft spot for him, and he isn't ashamed of the benefits that gets him.
Roka's greatest secret is that he gave up his fertility as a sacrifice in the pursuit of sorcery. His testicles are literally composed of sap from the rubber tree, sewn flawlessly into place by an insectoid surgeon demon. Even now he plans to somehow use a neomah courtesan demon to satisfy the demands of Dynastic culture - that he produce children once he marries.
Roka is intemperate and quick-tempered. He likes to gamble, and his House despairs at his lack of financial thrift almost as much as they decry his minimal skills in the tactics of war and his choice to pursue the crooked path of the sorcerer.
