Ferox

Commander of the Wyld-mutated Rust Princes, also known as the People of Iron.

In the Dark Waters chronicle, the Solar Togire Oarman "healed" Ferox of his Wyld taint, which had the side effect of removing his immunity to further mutation by the Wyld. Ferox returned home to his people, but was ultimately tainted due to his new vulnerability. It is believed that he either committed ritual suicide or was killed by his own people.

Commander Ferox's son is named Ruso, but his culture does not practice the inheritance of position merely due to ancestry.
