Josef played V'neef Gavelin in the Far Shores chronicle. Gavelin has sort of crossed over to the Hundred Kingdoms chronicle because he betrayed his people to join the Anathema. However, in his mind, they betrayed his heart before he ever decided to help the Anathema who showed the qualities of a true hero. Gavelin rather thinks himself a loyal friend to Noble Seraphim than a member of the Hundred Kingdoms group

Joe started a new character for the Far Shores Dragon-Blooded chronicle, Cathak Kiba.

In Dark Waters Joe playes a deaf character named Togire Oarman from the small island, Ceryle, part of the western island chain.

"It should also be noted that while playing Cathak Kiba, Joe gained Conrad's admiration as his favorite player, a status he continues to hold with his new character in Dark Waters."
