Mnemon Aratama
Player Character from the Far Shores series, originally played by Bunnie before she left with her kids to live with her mother.

Aratama stands 5'6" tall, shorter than the average Realm citizen. Her head is shaved perfectly bald, and waxed to keep the hair from growing back too soon. The only other hair on her body that can be seen, are her eyebrows, which have the same colors her head hair would if it were to ever grow out. Black like most Realm citizens, but with sapphire blue hints when the sun shines on her face. Her skin is probably her most striking feature, being pale as is her birthright, but it looks like pink quartz. It shimmers and has a translucent quality to it, though you can't really see through it. You get the impression you might be able to. And though it looks like quartz to the eye, it feel soft and smooth. Her eyes are not dark like most in the realm, but a beautiful amethyst, characteristic of Mnemon, her mother. She is a beautiful young woman, and serves her faith well. Normally she dresses in the simple robes and belt of a first coil monk, and wields a great White Jade Grand Goremaul, crafted by her own hand, and the only decoration on it are those representing Pasiap the Earth Dragon. She also adorns her neck with a Torque of Pasiap's Immaculate Purity. Currently she is wearing over her robe a great suit of White Jade Articulate Plate, it bears on the front of it the Mon of House Mnemon, who donated it to the order, but Aratama wears a sash with Pasiap's image upon it over the mon, for monks are not to carry house allegiances. Aratama is muscular, but not in the way a man would be. She is physically fit and almost as strong as any woman could be, yet she is feminine and beautiful.
Aratama's History
Aratama was born to Mnemon on Pasiap's day. She was certainly neither the first, last, or most auspicious of children Mnemon has had. She is the daughter of Mnemon and Ragara Minas, one of Ragara's younger sons. Her parentage was promising at least.
It was quite apparent from a young age that Aratama wasn't like Mnemon's other children: she was too honest. She was always the child who would tell you if she broke something, or when she did try to lie it was so obvious it might as well have been the truth. Still, Aratama came from a strong bloodline and Mnemon had plans for her.
When Aratama was 9 years old, there was a small child in her school that was being picked on by one of the larger, older kids. Aratama stood up for the little boy, who was un-Exalted. She got into a scuffle with the boy and while they were fighting she Exalted. The older boy wasn't hurt too badly, and she managed to throw him clear when she realized what was happening, but needless to say, the little boy was never picked on again. Exalting at such a young age was music to Mnemon's ears. She started seeking potential matches for her Earth-Aspected daughter.
Aratama had other plans. When she Exalted, she felt such wonder and amazement at the power and might of the Dragons, she wished to devote herself to them. She decided she wanted to be a monk. Her mother attributed this to childish musings.
Secondary School
When the time came to decide upon a secondary school, Aratama convinced her mother to send her to the Cloister of Wisdom. Her mother agreed, thinking it good to have ties to the Order. When her daughter came to her at the end of the year telling her how she was going to start studying the Immaculate paths, Mnemon was less than pleased.
Mnemon prepared to have the Cloister stop teaching her daughter, when a missive arrived asking permission to speak with her. It was from a monk of House Mnemon in good standing. Mnemon agreed to see him. What was said in that meeting between the monk and Mnemon is uncertain, as neither has shared that information, but what is clear is that after the meeting Mnemon fully supported her daughter's decision to become a monk, even if somehow grudging at times.
So began Aratama's life on the path of the Immaculates. So strong was her conviction in her faith and her knowledge of what she wanted to be that when Aratama entered the Procession of Gray to make her vows, she had never known the intimate touches of a man or woman.
Since Then
Aratama graduated the Cloister and entered the Immaculate Order immediately as a monk. She brought with her the grand goremaul she personally constructed over a 5 year period of her studies in the Cloister.
At this time, Aratama has gained the rank of Third Coil, and is one of the Celestial Guided Itinerants who serves as the eyes of the Mouth of Peace.
