Conspiracy and betrayal, as integral to the realm as the Empress herself, has found its way into Kiba's world once again, but that is not all. Weeks ago, his colleague, Myar, made the mistake of informing him of circumstantial and hearsay evidence that the recently returned Empress is not as she seems, a deadly rumor indeed, for if anyone found out, Myar and all his acquaintances would meet unfortunate accidents. His lack of trust however was truly what convinced Kiba to return with this intrepid new bunch of fools to the gate, now forbidden, to cross into the unknown to seek answers that would surely kill him.
And now he knows. Finally entering the realm of creation, the four haggard and wretched dragonblooded found themselves in a pitch black sky, deep within the tropical forests of the South East. And yet for all the answers his new comrades have found, doubt and questions find their way into Kiba's mind. And as the fae vanished from their site, seemingly satisfied with it's fill of Myar's beloved, Alano, one thing stands true in Kiba's mind.
"They are still here." he whispered, wide eyed and terrified of the site he just saw. So much so, one could be mistaken that it was he who offered his courage to the wyld born creature. And then, "quickly, we must be gone from here. Distance between them and us is our best safety now." And without looking back to see if the others followed, the Cathak uncharacteristically ran out of the clearing, hacking his way into the thickest tangle of plantlife he had ever seen, barely able to make out the gleam of his swords in the filtered moonlight.
And his thoughts overcame him. "I'm still there, this darkness, that which hides are dreams beyond the next bend." *slash* And yet, pausing to catch his breath and hear if the others were following his trail, a realization came to him. "If this truly be the abyss, these vines will move to my very will and let me pass." A concept that truly heartened him as he renewed his vigor against the aged growth of the forest. *chop, CHOP, Whiff* "NO... it must have been the wind yes. I can hear it in the trees, right?" But the others were still too far back to console him. And suddenly, they all saw a light flair but 20' in front of them where darkenss only just was. Running to Kiba's aid they found the forest ablaze around him, an inner flame which held no spark of it's own, yet burned all within its sphere of influence. "Find your poles" And as the others watched on in wonder and amazement a new substance leaked out of Kiba's very pours, a substance crawling out from him like his own blood trying to escape the heat inside, and yet a substance that did not seem his own. And as it leaked and melted from him, covering him from head to toe, it's own will forced itself onto the man of fire, refusing to burn to ash. For the first time since they had been with Cathak Kiba, they could see his wrath, his anger, his spirit, pouring forth through his eyes. For from this day forth, a new passion born of flame within the wyld and melded out of his own desires, forged by his own will, will always be seen within Cathak Kiba, a man of fire.
(Kiba's new quest thing to do type thing (forget what they are called) is now to journey to the elemental pole of fire. He is not sure this will convince him of his return to creation, however he knows nothing else will)
And such was the group's journey for 4 days and 5 nights, though they rarely knew if it was day or not within the undergrowth, kiba's light guiding them most of the way. Kiba always lead, refusing anyone's offer or reasoning otherwise. He didn't know if it was fear of what was behind them, for surely it could be ahead as well. Nor was it honor or responsibility towards his fellows. He just knew it was right. And in a world where so few things could be trusted anymore, he grasped on this concept and ran with it.
Cathak Kiba is a Fire Aspect Dragon-Blooded who graduated from the House of Bells.
Recently, he has been attached to the forces of General Cathak Kitono as an observer for his House. This brought him to Greyfalls shortly after its return to Realm control (in the month of Ascending Wood 769) via the efforts of the Dragon-Blooded characters of the Far Shores chronicle.

Addition Discriptions: The physical stat adders are all from his artificial left hand, an artifiact crafted onto him to replace the wound given to him by an Anathema who was escaping the blessed isle right after exalting. He ran into her on his way to the temple. The one to wits is gifted to him by his Hearthstone of quick thought. The other three he earned at the House of Bells (bonus xp after creating the character) being of adnormally weaker stock considering his lineage, he quickly learned that he needed how to convince others to battle for him.

Anima Discription: Like his mood, temper, and just about every other aspect of this young exalt's life, Kiba's anima is most dangerous because it is so inconspicuous. Rising with his temper, the very air around him shakes and quivers around his brooding gaze. To confront him in this nature though is to realize his true focus, passion, and intensity as enemies are engulfed in a blazing heat forcing all water from his path. In this atmosphere a freshly cut sprig of a young sapling quickly whithers and catches aflame in seconds. However without such a target to fuel his fury, the eyes of others plays tricks on them much like in the deserts of the south.
